Fitting your new lock

Yale Doormaster™ locks are designed to fit most doors, and are available for both DIY and professional installation.

Professional installation

Many people will prefer to have a professional install their Doormaster™, and will contact a Yale Doormaster™ Expert to supply and fit their lock for them.

Your local Yale Doormaster™ Expert is fully trained by Yale, and will be able to advise you on the best choice of Doormaster™ product for your door, as well as recommend ways you can increase the security of your door. They will ensure that your product is correctly fitted, and advise you on ways to revive your door and maximise its serviceable life.

DIY Installation

If you choose to install your own lock, there are two Doormaster™ products designed for DIY installation:

Universal

Yale Doormaster™ Universal is a Standard Security replacement multipoint lock that offers equal or higher levels of security of the existing lock only has one bolt or hook in the centre of the door.

Adjustable

Yale Doormaster™ Adjustable is a High Security replacement multipoint lock for doors where the existing lock has bolts or hooks in the top and bottom halves of the door as well as in the centre lock.
